Profile

Dr. Collins joined the Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM) in February 2023. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in laboratory animal medicine at the University of Michigan in 2016. Dr. Collins brings a great deal of experience to U-M, including most recently serving as the Assistant Director of Animal Resources Program and Alternate Responsible Official of the Regional Biocontainment Laboratory at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Collins’ research interests include ABSL-3 containment and large animal surgical models.
